Container Packing Capacity
CBH is committed to optimising container packing capacity at our Metro Grain Centre facility to maximise value for growers and exporters.
Our Container Loading Services Agreement outlines how to obtain access to container packing services at Metro Grain Centre, and fees are outlined in the Container Loading Services Fee Schedule.
CBH will allocate Container Capacity in the following manner:
- CBH will negotiate the allocation of Long-Term Capacity with Exporters and subsequently enter into Long Term Agreements.
- Any capacity not allocated under Long‑Term Agreements will be released as spare capacity and made available on a first-in-first-serve (FIFS) basis.
- To participate in any container capacity release, both a signed Container Loading Services Agreement (CLSA) and a signed Grain Services Agreement (GSA) must be in place. Applicants are encouraged to submit CLSA and GSA applications as early as possible, as the application process (including credit checks) can take approximately two weeks, depending on complexity.
